Let us introduce you to Prof.* Nayi Zongo from Burkina Faso. Prof. Nayi Zongo is a cancer surgeon and senologist at Yalgado Quédraogo University Hospital as well as professor and cancer researcher at Joseph Ki-ZERBO University in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. He is one of the key figures in our project in Burkina Faso encouraging women to do self checks on a regular basis. He teaches women how to use the DearMamma app in health schools, during his consultations, in churches, in the neighborhood and in university lecture halls at the end of his lessons.

We are so grateful for your incredible commitment to increase breast cancer awareness in your country. Thank you so much for the important work you do. You are a true DearMammaHero to us.

*Professor Zongo received his professorship title after recording this video. That is why he is still presented as "Dr." in the video. We warmly congratulate him on his new position.

Prof. Dan Herschko is an oncologist and head of surgery at the Emek Medical Centre in Afula (Israel). He emphasizes that breast cancer - if detected early - can in many cases be treated without having to remove a breast.

Fanny was a strong and loving woman from Israel, who sadly lost the fight against breast cancer some time after recording this interview. She went through many of the treatments side by side with her daughter Inbal, who was also diagnosed with breast cancer.
